Alba Hawaiian Kukui Nut Organic Body Oil - 8.5 fl. oz. Customer Review: Humble yet rich
I love good body oil after a nice shower and scrub before bed. Usually the best way to go with these is organic, since reading that the skin absorbs sixty percent of what we put on it I try to be more health conscious and not play a chemist when it comes to my well being, not even if for the sake of vanity.
Alba Botanica makes simple, wholesome and really scrumptious products, their whole line is always so innovative, natural and great smelling while being good for the skin and most of its products being hypo-allergenic. This body oil is really great but very different than most, it’s not gooey and sticky, but sinks in well and keeps the skin covered in a moist blanket, it doesn’t absorb very fast if I use a lot so usually I would only use this at night, I don’t want to spend half a day with slick legs wearing pants. This leaves the skin with a warm glow instead of looking as if one was dunked in a vat of baby oil, the main star of this product is the Kukui nut, something that Hawaiians have relied on for centuries to relieve wind burned skin and hair, it absorbs well and doesn’t block the pores - very important - and it is said to even relieve psoriasis and eczema symptoms!
I love how the cap is brilliantly designed, like the other reviewer said, you can pour out the perfect amount even if squeezing the bottle, and it wont all spill out. It’s also not too wet and spreads well, but the best thing of all? Other than the moisturizing properties and how well it can be used as massage oil is the scent, one would think that this would smell nutty and toasty, not so, it really smells like an ocean! Very refreshing and on top of that its simple yet so good for the skin, this would be great for men, women and even kids or for the lucky ones who live on the beach, this would bring some nice relief after a day in the sun.

Customer Review: Amazing!!
I disagree with the other review. This product is amazing! It works from HEAD TO TOE and leaves your skin silky smooth, soft, and smelling fresh all day long. I also use it in my natural black (dredlock) hair as a moisturizing and herbal oil and it works just the same–without any greasy build-up in my hair or scalp. I also use it the same way on my 3 year old son, and we both agree, “It smells really good!” The scent is “almondy”–delicate, but not too overpowering. Also, what I like about the bottle is that the special design of the cap allows it to drip out rather than gush out. You can squeeze the bottle harder for increased flow, if you desire. I’m a happy customer with this product and will definitely purchase it again as well as sample other Alba Hawaiian products. Thanks!!:)
